than Your Average Tape!
The industry of environmental health has long needed a standard for
surface sampling. The current tape method used by
many in the field presents a variety of potential
problems, not the least of which includes contamination
from improper handling. Recently, a new product was
developed to address the problems of current surface
sampling techniques: the MycoStrip®.
This product was developed following extensive research
involving the analysis of thousands of tape samples, and
field trials. It proved to improve reliability and
accuracy of analysis as well as a reduction of 50% in time
spent analyzing samples. Currently, two recognized
environmental groups have switched to using the MycoStrip®
exclusively for their sampling analysis.
